Do you take on small jobs?Yes. Cape Byron Excavations is a one man operation, so small residential digs sit alongside rural property work. If it needs a machine and an operator who knows the ground, ring Greg.
How deep can you go for post holes?The auger drills clean post holes to 4.5 metres. Anything wider or deeper is dug with the 5 tonne or 9 tonne excavator.
What if we hit rock?The rock breaker goes on the excavator and we keep going. Rock is common on the hinterland slopes and it is priced as part of the job, not as a surprise.
